Larry Smith: Learning to cope with having schizophrenia and balancing out my life in order to keep writing.

Larry Smith: My immediate family does support me, they think I am doing a great job!

Larry Smith: I would have paid more attention in my English classes.

Larry Smith: On average, it takes me about a year and a few months to write a book.

Larry Smith: Yes I believe in writers block.
Romelia: AT WHAT POINT DO YOU THINK SOMEONE SHOULD CALL THEMSELVES A WRITER?
Larry Smith: I believe a person could call themselves a writer after publishing their first book.
Romelia: WHAT DIFFERENCE DO YOU SEE BETWEEN A WRITER AND AN AUTHOR?
Larry Smith: Actually a writer and an author can be both one and the same.
Romelia: HOW DO YOU PROCESS AND DEAL WITH NEGATIVE BOOK REVIEWS?
Larry Smith: I just try not to get mad and do better on my next book.

Larry Smith: Trying to collectively gather all my materials while trying to actually finish writing the book.

Larry Smith: I have been writing for 10 years.
Romelia: WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A WRITER WORKING ON THEIR FIRST BOOK?
Larry Smith: I would tell the writer to not try and finish their book so quick.
Romelia: WHAT, TO YOU, ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENTS OF GOOD WRITING?
Larry Smith: Good elements of writing are good flow and having a beginning, middle, and end.
Romelia: WHAT COMES FIRST FOR YOU – THE PLOT OR THE CHARACTERS – AND WHY?
Larry Smith: I believe the characters come first because the reader needs to know who the characters are in the story.
Romelia: HOW DO YOU DEVELOP YOUR PLOT AND CHARACTERS?
Larry Smith: I just tell the story and include the characters to make the story flow smooth.
Romelia: WHEN DID YOU FIRST CALL YOURSELF A WRITER?
Larry Smith: I called myself a writer after publishing my first book.
Romelia: HOW DO YOU USE SOCIAL MEDIA AS AN AUTHOR?
Larry Smith: I use social media frequently to advertise my books.
Romelia: WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE PART OF PUBLISHING?
Larry Smith: My favorite part of publishing is having an author copy of my book in my hands, my least favorite part of publishing is the waiting process.
Romelia: WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO AN AUTHOR WHO WANTED TO DESIGN THEIR OWN COVER?
Larry Smith: I would direct them to a site called fiverr.
Romelia: HOW MANY BOOKS HAVE YOU WRITTEN AND WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE?
Larry Smith: I have written 2 books, and my favorite is my upcoming fiction book „BLACK GOLD DOWN UNDER”.
Romelia: WHAT PART OF THE BOOK DID YOU HAVE THE HARDEST TIME WRITING?
Larry Smith: Telling the actual story from beginning, middle, and end.
Romelia: WHAT PART OF THE BOOK WAS THE MOST FUN TO WRITE?
Larry Smith: The beginning of the story.
Romelia: WHICH OF THE CHARACTERS DO YOU RELATE TO THE MOST AND WHY?
Larry Smith: I can relate to my youngest brother in the story because he just wanted me to be normal again after taking the drug ecstasy.
Romelia: IF YOU’RE PLANNING A SEQUEL. CAN YOU SHARE A TINY BIT ABOUT YOUR PLANS FOR IT?
Larry Smith: No sequel.
Romelia: TELL US SOMETHING FUNNY ABOUT YOUR ADULT LIFE.
Larry Smith: I spend most of my day laughing at people that come in and out of Starbucks, people are so interesting.

Larry Smith: Well I would like to become a multi-millionaire writer someday, I hate that their are so many rude people in the world.
